Artist Statement
Born in Lithuania, Klaipeda. Currently work as an artist in Kamchatka.
In art, color is primary for me, and I explore it as a tool for emotion and atmosphere. My work is a way to slow down and see what usually goes unnoticed. It's not a search for something grandiose, but rather a careful examination of the everyday.
There's a harmony and a quiet meaning all around: in rhythms and repetitions, in the pauses between objects, in random coincidences, in the traces of someone else's presence. My art is an attempt to see, capture, and convey these revelations in color combinations. This is my personal journey of intense observation.
